Can my baby chew on the necklace? -  No, these necklaces are not to be chewed on. Choosing the appropriate sized necklace for your baby will ensure your little one cannot get the necklace into his/her mouth (over the chin).  

How do I select the right size? The necklace you choose should not be so loose that your baby can lift it up over their chin, but it should not be so tight that it would be uncomfortable. The necklace should be sitting right on the top of their collar bones. Generally, the size 11.5" will fit babies 3m - 1.5 years. You should try the necklace on the baby to gauge the proper fit or measure using a piece of yarn.
