Sterling silver is the base metal for these earrings. They are then plated with palladium, a platinum to prevent tarnishing. The earrings are finished in rhodium, a platinum.

These earrings are about 2inches long and a half inch at their widest. 

They are post earrings that hinge.

These earrings are completely handmade: hand fabricated, soldered, cut, drilled, filed, sanded, and finished in my one-woman home studio shop.
